the disk de-fragmentation is used to optimize the disk by rejoining any splited files back into consecutive pieces.
- just right click on the drive and click properties .
- select the tab tools and click defragment now button.
- click on analyze and see for current status of files and if needed for defragmentation click on defragment button.
