Remote desktop is an inbuilt windows feature to connect to the remote windows systems.
This feature is not available in some lower versions of window such as window home edition.in such cases u can prefer to the third party software such as VNC( access within LAN) ,team viewer(access arruond the globe) .

- first we should do is to enable the remote desktop in the pc which you are going access remotely.
- right click on my-computer and select properties from the list.
- in system properties window select the remote tab (win 7 users click system properties at left of the window) select the allow users to access the computer remotely check box and click OK and restart the system .
Accessing the remotely.
- open Run from start and type mstsc.exe
- in remote desktop connection window enter the IP address of the pc or Name of the target pc .(name can be seen by right click on my-computer and select properties )
- enter the username and password and enjoy.
